December 1st — Happy Holidays!
Can you believe that Thanksgiving has already come & gone & Christmas is just around the corner? The past few months have been a ‘mixed bag’ of blessings, prayer, diverse emotions, prayer, new foods, various supplements, lots more prayer, medications every-two-hours, prayer, . . . well, you get the idea!!
We are so thankful and grateful for each one of you that have continually supported us with your prayers & friendship . . . a truly indescribable blessing.
We still need your prayers. In reviewing Sam’s last set of scans, they have found a small ‘spot’ on his spine. They do not know if it is cancerous . . .we are praying, trusting and hoping it is NOT! Sam will have to undergo further x-rays on this area to determine exactly what they are seeing. At this point, the general consensus is that it does not ‘look like’ cancer, and there are NO symptoms to indicate it has spread there. We are looking to Jesus!
Please just continue to pray!! Sam is working his “normal schedule”, walking through every open door for ministry opportunities, and is feeling good these days. He still experiences some fatigue in the evenings after working a full day, but then, I do too!!
Sometimes this time of year isn’t easy for me . . . I miss Christen and all the ‘fun stuff’ we used to do in preparation for the Christmas season . . . and then, there is the anniversary date of her home going here at Christmastime also! However, this year I am more focused than ever on being grateful for having our ‘family of three’ and for each of you who have touched our lives in such a special way this year.

Hi, My Dear Ms. & Mr. Conway:
I am so glad that I found your blog on the website. This morning I read all about the information that you put on the website, and I understand your journey with G from the beginning and until now. What a miracle and the great encouragement to all the people who are praying for your family.
I was sent you a few letter to you before, but I do apologize that I should write more, but your family especially Mr. Conway is always in my thoughts and P….ers, and I ask my group there in China are lifting up him very often. I just want to let you know I do love and miss you so much, when I got the message that Grace send it to me, (I am so thankful sometime Grace and I exchange our life, so I know your situation),I was so thankful that G is really a faithful G that Listen to our P…ers.
I felt bad that China is so far away from you, and I could not be with you, I was sad and so sorry for Mr. Conway got the cancer. But I just have a great faith in HIM that HE will show the miracle again to your family as same as HE saved my dad. I know there is the reason, because your family’s testimony just touched me and my group so deeply. Maybe at this point you may notice that G use you to bless some people in you life, but I would love to let you know, those group people not only in the State or other place, but here in China, my group just so loved your testimony, as an example, we are learning how to become to the strong Chris…. and growing even more deeper in G.

Ann has done a great job keeping everyone informed, and we continue to lift you, her and Kevin up in our prayers daily.
I want to publicly thank you for the role model you have been in my life and other lives as well. You continue to be a great “mentor” and “coach” in both the professional and personal sides of my life. I have learned (and will continue to learn) much from you as we both continue this journey through life.
